Farsley Scout Group Christmas Concert

Like most years, this year we had a group Christmas Concert including beavers, cubs, and scouts. Songs were sung, sketches acted and musical instruments played. All the children involved worked really hard on all their performances and the whole thing went really well. Two scouts, Katie and Hannah, lead the concert and introduced all the acts. All the audience enjoyed watching the children perform and everyone enjoyed the show.

These two pictures are of the scouts after the end of the concert where they sung traditional carols:

Farsley Lights Parade

Farsley Scouts, along with schools including Farsley Farfield and Spingbank, were involved with the Farsley Lights Parade. We had a float revolving around the Jungle Book and all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and some of the leaders were dressed as animals. People had their faces painted, others in onsies, some in hand made costumes, and some with masks and hats on. Everyone made an effort to get involved and parents walked along side the float as it made its way down town street. We all enjoyed the parade and loved being on the float and can't wait until the next parade.
